About the Sponsor: The sponsors of the activity are the distribution companies of AES El Salvador (AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, and AES DEUSEM). 

Participating Product: Payments made before the due date for electric energy service bills of natural persons under Residential and General rates from the AES El Salvador group companies during the 3 months of the specified promotion period. 

Prize to be Awarded in the Promotional Activity: 16 prizes have been defined to be raffled in a single draw to take place on Thursday, January 7, 2027, at the Commercial Office in AES DEUSEM, located at Plaza Mundo Usulután Shopping Center (situated on Carretera El Litoral / CA-2E and RN 1) STORES 89-90, Usulután, distributed as follows:

Promotion Validity: 

  • Promotion start date: October 1st, 2026

Draw Date and Place:

  • Draw date: Thursday, January 7, 2027
  • Draw place: Commercial Office in AES DEUSEM, located at Plaza Mundo Usulután Shopping Center (situated on Carretera El Litoral / CA-2E and RN 1) STORES 89-90, Usulután
  • Draw time: 10:00 a. m.

Method of Conducting the Draws: The draws will be conducted electronically and randomly using an electronic raffle drum, where a random selection will be made among all participating accounts. Participating accounts will be the NCs (Contract Numbers) that have paid the 3 bills on time (October, November, and December). 16 winners and 16 alternates will be selected, identified by distribution company through the NC number corresponding to their paid bill.

Winner Selection Mechanics: The draw will take place in the presence of a municipal delegate, staff from the Corporate Commercial Directorate, and Regional Commercial Management, to validate the transparency of the draw dynamics. 

The following will be verified:

  • Payment date in the RTP (Realtimepayment) system prior to the due date, including the due date of the October, November, and December 2026 bills. All 3 bills must have been paid on time to participate. 
  • Payment of the total bill amount. 
  • Residential and General rate customers.
  • User name. 
  • Payment for electric energy consumption.

Participants: All natural persons with services classified under Residential and General rates who have paid their bills on time in October 2026, November 2026, and December 2026 participate in the promotional activity. On-time payment must be understood as the deadline established on the bill. It also applies to customers with overdue bills who pay pending bills plus the October 2026 bill on time, and pay their November 2026 and December 2026 bills on time. 

Restrictions:

  • Once a participant wins a prize, they do not participate in the raffle for subsequent prizes in the same draw. 
  • Only electric energy consumption bills apply (does not apply to miscellaneous charges, negative balances, installment agreement payments, irregularities occurring in the last 12 months, or customers subsidized for the total bill value).
  • Accounts registered under the names of Politically Exposed Persons of El Salvador cannot be winners in this promotion. 
  • Accounts under the names of employees of the Distribution Companies of Grupo AES ES (AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, AES DEUSEM) cannot be winners in this promotion. 
  • Accounts with an irregularity file or where supply irregularities attributable to the customer are detected during the period cannot win. 

How to Participate: All natural persons with services classified under Residential and General rates who have paid their bill on time in October 2026, November 2026, and December 2026 participate. On-time payment must be understood as the deadline established on the bill. It also applies to customers with overdue bills who pay pending bills plus the October 2026 bill on time, and pay their November 2026 and December 2026 bills on time. 

 

For Prize Delivery: 

  • The winner will be notified via phone call, email, and/or written letter notification of being selected in the draw. Contact details will be taken based on customer information registered in the AES commercial system. 
  • Commercial Agency supervisors will coordinate the time and date of prize delivery with the winning customer. To claim the prize, the Customer must present the duly paid bill(s) or proof of payment and their Unique Identity Document (DUI). If these documents are not presented, prizes cannot be delivered to the winner, and the prize will automatically be awarded to the alternate account. 
  • Upon arrival to claim the prize, a delivery report will be drawn up confirming that the Distributor has delivered the corresponding prizes.
  • If the winner does not appear to receive their prize at the notified date and time, they will have 15 business days to claim it; otherwise, the prize will be assigned to the alternate winner, who will have a maximum of 10 business days after notification to claim it. If the alternate winner does not appear within 10 business days of notification, the prize will remain with the Distributor for future draws. 

Special Cases: 

In the event that the person registered in the distribution companies' commercial system has been selected as the winner and has passed away, family members must present a death certificate and a copy of the deceased person's identity document in order to claim the prize. 

In the event that the person registered in the distribution companies' commercial system, selected as the winner, is out of the country, family members must present one of the following documents: an authorization letter allowing the family member to collect the prize, along with the winner's identity document, a copy of the passport, or a power of attorney granted in favor of the family member to carry out transactions. 

In the event that the person registered in the distribution companies' commercial system selected as the winner rents the property, the tenant of the house must show a lease agreement for the delivery of the prize, or evidence of making said rental payment. If they do not have a lease agreement, they must present a sworn statement from the house user, along with a copy of the DUI identity document, in order to hand over the prize to the tenant who pays the bill. The format of the legal sworn statement document will be provided by the Distribution company of the AES El Salvador Group (AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, and AES DEUSEM).

Customer Contact Conditions: 

To notify the winners, a post will be made on the distribution companies' Social Networks; subsequently, a maximum of 3 contact attempts will be made to the main winner via phone call, email, or letter notification. In case of not locating the winner within the 3 attempts plus the publication, the prize will be awarded to the alternate winner; if the alternate winner cannot be contacted within the established period either, the prize will remain in the possession of the distribution company. 

Responsibility, Conditions, and Restrictions for the Distribution Companies: 

Release of liability of the winner to the distribution company regarding the prize: In the event that the winner does not claim their prize within the deadlines established in these rules, by not receiving it, they automatically release the distribution company from liability for the prize in the future, and procedures will follow as described in the section for the delivery of prizes. 

AES El Salvador is not responsible for the warranties of the products to be raffled. To make the warranty effective, the winning participant must process it directly with the supplier store.
