Ways to conduct the draws:

The draws will be carried out electronically and randomly, via electronic, the selection will be made at random among all participating accounts. 12 winners and 12 alternates will be selected, which will be identified by the Distribution Division through the NIC number corresponding to their paid invoice.

Winner selection mechanism:

For the draw, the presence of a municipal delegate, Corporate Commercial Direction representative and Regional Commercial Management will be counted on, in order to validate the transparency of the draw dynamics.

It will be verified:

  • Payment Date in the Open system before the expiration date including the day of expiration
  • Total Invoice Payment
  • Residential and General rate customers
  • User Name o Payment for Electricity Consumption

Participants:

All natural persons with services classified in the Residential and General rates who have paid their invoice on time in March 2024 and/or have also updated their data on our platform participate in the promotional activity. Timely is understood as the deadline set on the invoice. It also applies to customers with overdue bills, who pay overdue bills plus the bill on time in said month.

Restrictions:

A. Once a participant wins a prize, they do not participate in the raffle for the following prizes of the same draw.

B. Only electricity consumption invoices apply. (does not apply to various charges, negative balances, installment agreement fees, irregularities that occurred in the last 12 months, customers subsidized with the total value of the invoice.)

C. In this promotion, accounts registered under the names of Politically Exposed Persons from El Salvador cannot win.

D. In this promotion, accounts in the names of employees of the AES ES Distribution Companies Group cannot win. (AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, AES DEUSEM).

E. Accounts that have an irregularity file or that irregularities in the supply are detected during the period with responsibility on the part of the client cannot win in this promotion.

How to Participate:

All natural person users with R and G rates, who pay the invoice on time and/or have updated their data on the Distributors' platform between March 1, 24, and March 31, 24 at any of the authorized collectors participate.

For the delivery of the Prizes:

The winner will be notified by telephone call, email, or letter notification that they have won in the draw. Contact details will be taken based on the client's information registered in the AES commercial system. The Commercial Agencies Supervisor will coordinate with the winning client the time and date of prize delivery. To withdraw the prize, the Client must present the duly paid invoice(s) or payment evidence and their Unique Identity Document (DUI). If these documents are not presented, the prizes cannot be delivered to the winner, and the prize will automatically be awarded to the alternate account.

When the winner comes to claim their prize, a certificate will be drawn up, stating that THE DISTRIBUTOR has delivered the corresponding prizes.

The draw prizes can be claimed by the winners from 3 business days after the day of the draw and during the next 15 business days of its realization. If the winner of the draw does not come to receive their prize within 15 business days, the prize will be assigned to the alternate winner, who will have a maximum of 10 business days after being notified to withdraw their prize. If the alternate winner does not come to withdraw their prize within 10 business days after being notified, the prize will remain in possession of THE DISTRIBUTOR for future draws.

Special Cases:

  • If the individual registered in the commercial system of the distributors has been selected as a winner and has passed away, the relatives must present a death certificate and a copy of the deceased's identification document in order to claim the prize.
  • if the person registered in the commercial system of the distributors, selected as a winner, be out of the country, the relatives must present one of the following documents: a letter authorizing the relative to withdraw the prize, along with the winner's identification document, or a copy of the passport, or a power of attorney assigned in favor of the relative for carrying out procedures.
  • If the person registered in the commercial system of the distributors, selected as a winner, is renting the property, the tenant must demonstrate a lease agreement for the delivery of the prize, or evidence of making such lease payment. If there is no lease agreement, a sworn declaration by the user of the house, along with a copy of the DUI (Unique Identity Document), must be presented to deliver the prize to the tenant who pays the bill. The format of the legal sworn declaration document will be provided by the Distributor Company of the AES ES Group (AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, AES DEUSEM).

Customer Contact Conditions:

To notify the winners, a publication will be made in AES El Salvador social media, followed by a maximum of 3 attempts to contact the main winner, through a phone call, email, or letter notification. If the winner cannot be located after the 3 attempts plus the publication, the prize will be awarded to the substitute. If the substitute also cannot be contacted within the established period, the prize will remain in the possession of the distributor.

Responsibility, Conditions, and Restrictions for the Distributors:

Release of liability of the winner towards the distributor, regarding the prize:

If the winner does not claim their prize within the deadlines established in these terms, by not receiving it, they automatically release the distributor from the responsibility of the prize in the future, and the procedure described in the paragraph for THE DELIVERY OF THE PRIZES will be followed.

AES El Salvador is not responsible for the warranties of the products to be raffled. To make the warranty effective, the winning participant must process it directly with the supplier store.
