The initiative is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility axis AES Education, through which the company develops programs that bring training on the responsible use of electricity and energy efficiency closer to communities.

Since its creation in 2007, Magic Energy has cumulatively impacted 800,640 children up to December 2025 and has carried out 1,465 visits to educational centers throughout the country. With 18 years of history, the program has consolidated itself as the company's most emblematic educational initiative.

Recently, AES El Salvador officially presented the digital adaptation of “Energía Mágica,” marking a new stage in the evolution of the project. The digital version, available at www.aes-energiamagica.com, brings together educational content in an interactive and accessible format for students and teachers. The site includes comics, full episodes of the characters' adventures, interactive games, and playful material designed to teach how to save and safely use electric energy.

Carlos Marroquín, Manager of Communications and Community of AES El Salvador, highlighted the importance of promoting energy education from childhood, as it allows for the formation of citizens who are more responsible with the use of electricity and committed to the sustainable development of their communities. “At AES El Salvador, we believe that educating new generations about the responsible use of energy is fundamental to building safer and more conscious communities. Through these activities, we seek to teach in a dynamic and close way how energy impacts our lives and how each person can contribute to using it efficiently,” he expressed.

Through its digitalization, it is expected to reach more children

This year, the digital transformation of Magic Energy will allow for a significant expansion of its reach, making it easier for more children, even in areas where face-to-face visits are not conducted, to access the educational content.

With this platform, AES El Salvador seeks to boost the program's impact, combining visits to school centers with digital tools that ensure a continuous, dynamic learning experience adapted to new generations.

In this way, the company reaffirms its commitment to education and the sustainable development of the country, strengthening the formation of a childhood more conscious of the safe, responsible, and efficient use of electric energy.
