AES El Salvador receives regional recognition for its occupational safety performance

The energy company highlighted that Safety is its main corporate value. For this reason, it implements various actions aimed at providing its staff, both direct employees and contractors, with the necessary knowledge and tools to prevent workplace incidents.

AES El Salvador has been recognized by the Regional Energy Integration Commission (CIER) for its outstanding performance in the 2025 Regional Occupational Health and Safety Survey. The recognition, granted under the category of "Very Good Performance," highlights the company's commitment to high standards of occupational safety for the benefit of its employees and contractors.

The survey, which included 68 companies from the electricity sector in 12 countries across the continent, evaluated the working conditions of more than 78,000 employees and 334,000 contractors belonging to the Generation, Distribution, and Transmission energy sectors.

In the study, AES El Salvador stood out for its compliance with rigorous safety indicators, reaffirming the solid Safety policies implemented and reflecting its organizational culture focused on the comprehensive protection of its employees.

CIER, an organization that brings together companies from the energy sector in Latin America, emphasized that this recognition seeks to motivate companies and their management teams to continue strengthening their occupational health and safety strategies.

AES El Salvador expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed its commitment to the well-being of its employees, promoting safe, responsible, and sustainable work environments.
