The works will benefit approximately 7,000 customers, including strategic infrastructures for the country such as the Rosales Hospital, headquarters of the most important financial entities, and companies located in this area of San Salvador.
As part of its commitment to strengthen the quality, reliability, and ensure the continuity of the electricity supply, AES El Salvador executes a modernization project of the electrical network in the Financial District of San Salvador.
The works developed, in a sectioned manner across different stretches, contemplate actions such as: the substitution of conductors with semi-insulated technology and the installation of taller poles, with the objective of improving the performance of the network, increasing its capacity, and providing greater safety to the electrical system.
The interventions were carried out at strategic points, including sectors such as Roosevelt Avenue and 57th South Avenue, as well as Olimpica Avenue and 65th South Avenue, areas of high commercial and financial relevance in the capital.
According to AES El Salvador, this investment is part of the permanent efforts to have a more modern, efficient, and resilient electrical network, capable of responding to the needs of an area where important hospital centers, financial entities, shopping centers, companies, and institutions converge, which require a reliable electricity supply for their operations.
Among the points of importance connected to this infrastructure is the Rosales Hospital, one of the main healthcare centers in the country, whose operation requires a safe, stable, and continuous electrical service for the development of its activities.
With this, AES El Salvador reaffirms its commitment to the technological modernization of the electrical network that the country needs to cover the growing energy demand and boost the economic and social development of El Salvador.
