AES CLESA modernizes electrical grid in rural areas of Santa Ana, Sonsonate, and Ahuachapán

AES CLESA, an AES El Salvador company, is advancing the modernization of electrical infrastructure in rural areas within the departments of Santa Ana, Sonsonate, and Ahuachapán through the execution of more than 10 projects aimed at strengthening the quality, safety, and continuity of electric power service.
As part of this comprehensive intervention, AES CLESA is carrying out maintenance and modernization of power lines, infrastructure relocation, and optimization of the distribution network. These actions seek to improve supply reliability and enhance the safety and efficiency conditions of the electrical infrastructure in the served communities.
The works are taking place at strategic points in the rural areas of Singuil, Navarrete, Metapán, and Amulunga in the department of Santa Ana; Atiquizaya and Cara Sucia in the department of Ahuachapán; and Apancoyo and Salcoatitán in the department of Sonsonate, directly benefiting a total of 7,533 users.
The projects also prioritize essential sectors for the development and well-being of the population—including rural communities, schools, and health centers—contributing to better conditions for families and institutions that rely on a continuous and reliable power supply.
