AES El Salvador, with the support of FUNDEMAS, has successfully concluded the EMPRENDE program. This initiative was designed to provide women electricians, who graduated from courses facilitated by AES and ISDEMU, with the digital knowledge and tools needed to strengthen their businesses and contribute to their family's economic growth.

In this first edition of the program, 38 women participated. During 24 hours of training, divided into three intensive 8-hour sessions, they learned about entrepreneurial skills, marketing strategies, financial planning, and social media optimization, among other key topics for growing their businesses.

Detrás de ellos hay una pared de color verde brillante con los logotipos de "AES El Salvador" y "Fundemas", con el lema "Creemos en la mejor inversión, la inversión social".

"With EMPRENDE, we seek to help these women, who already have technical skills as electricians, now strengthen their business and digital capabilities so that their businesses can be more competitive and sustainable," said Carlos Marroquín, Communications and Community Manager at AES El Salvador. "This program is a commitment to Salvadoran talent and the transformation of the family economy through female entrepreneurship."

The diploma ceremony took place with the participation of Carolina de Chinchilla, Sustainability Management Manager at Fundemas, the institution responsible for the training. This event reaffirmed their joint commitment to sustainable development and women's economic empowerment.

Additionally, for the participants who earned first and second place based on their scores, FUNDEMAS awarded two full scholarships for the Digital Marketing Strategies and Pitch and Storytelling courses.
